Ronil Beach Resort

The Ronil Beach resort, Baga, Goa was built in 1987 and featured prominently in the first ever charter flight programme from the U.K. to Goa, established in that year by the directors of Jewel in the Crown. The Ronil Beach has grown in popularity and continues to be a superb property. For beach lovers, Baga Beach is approximately 400m away and the bars and restaurants, for which Baga has become famous, are just a stone’s throw away.

Its main features are the swimming pool area and ‘Golden Net’ restaurant, which specialises in seafood. Rui, the General Manager, is a real food buff and has advised several TV chefs on Goan cuisine and has been accredited in their publications. The food in his restaurant is excellent and comes highly recommended. The Ronil Beach has a nightly band in high season which keeps diners entertained plus the hotel has a separate air-conditioned bar / coffee shop with billiard table open between 7pm and midnight. The Ronil Beach also has a newer block at the back where there is a second pool and a nice garden for relaxation and sunbathing.

Our accommodation is in both parts of the hotel, bedrooms are comfortable twins or doubles with a ceiling fan, air-conditioning (included), a TV, en-suite SH&WC and all rooms have a balcony or terrace.

Nov 2010 - Apr 2011: The hotel is offered on a Half Board basis. Clients can choose from the extensive menu and can spend up to 300 Rupees for each meal on food only (anything extra to be paid locally).

Nov 2011 - Apr 2012: The hotel is offered on a Bed & Continental Breakfast basis with an additional 3 evening meals per per person per 7 night stay. Clients can choose food up to the value of 300 Rupees per meal from the hotel's standard menu; any extra muct be paid for locally.
