Dalyan holidays appeal to those looking for a more traditional, quiet resort, rich in history. The sandy beach here in Dalyan is a protected area, as this is where the Loggerhead turtles come to lay their eggs, the best way to get to the beach is by boat, along the Dalyan River, enjoying the views of the Lycian Rock Tombs and the birds and wildlife in the wetlands. The village centre has a choice of restaurants serving traditional Turkish and International cuisine, or visit one of the restaurants on the river and watch the boats go by. A visit to the Mud Baths is a must on holidays in Dalyan, it is said that by smothering yourself from head to toe in the mud will leave you looking 10 years younger!
