Start Apartments

The Start Apartments, Ovacik, Turkey are set in a quiet location, away from the main road of Ovacik, offering a relaxing holiday for friends and families who enjoy spending most of their time by the pool. The centre of Hisaronu is only a 10 minute stroll along the quiet back roads of Ovacik and the main road, which is the local minibus route for Fethiye and Olu Deniz Beach, is a 5-10 minute walk away.

These well-run apartments are owned by Miranda and Engin and co-managed by Jane and Ali, who many of our repeat guests will know from the Leda Hotel, which they managed for many years. The property has a reasonably large swimming pool with a separate children’s section and a spacious sunbathing area with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. There are lush gardens surrounding the pool and the apartment blocks. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating and offers a rich menu and snacks throughout the day. Other facilities include a large screen TV with international channels and a pool table. Safety deposit boxes are also available for hire at the reception. The owners have built an additional outdoor bar, which is great, especially for the evenings in high season, when they hold occasional entertainment such as live music and BBQ nights.

The Start Apartments have air-conditioning (payable locally) and double beds in the bedrooms and a lounge with kitchenette, equipped with electric cooking rings, mini-fridge, kettle and toaster and two large sofa beds that can sleep 2 adults or 2 children. All apartments have en-suite shower & WC and a balcony or terrace.
